Local beauty crowned Miss Ballito 2017

Competition was fierce as the ladies took to the ramp in casual wear, swim wear and evening wear and were put to question by the judges

Meander Manor was packed with supporters of the 12 gorgeous Miss Ballito finalists last night but only one woman could walk away with the prestigious title.
Competition was fierce as the ladies took to the ramp in casual wear, swim wear and evening wear and were put to question by the judges.
Ultimately it was the glamorous Brooke Haslam from Ballito who set herself apart from the strong field to take the crown of Miss Ballito 2017.
Two more competitors stood out from the crowd to be crowned first and second princess: Sharne Snyman from Ballito and second princess Londeka Nzuza from Stanger.
Miss Congeniality, as voted by for by the contestants themselves, went to the lovely Bianca de Sousa from Ballito.
The pageant is unique in that it is a search for a young woman with not only physical beauty, but also someone who will uphold the values of Rotary.
During her reign she is to act as an ambassador for the community while taking part in fundraising for charity.
The judges Zakhele Khumalo, Levinia Braun, Pieter Naudé, Shelley Ferreira and Cheryl Peters.
