Hot line-up for KwaDukuza Winter Fair

The big draw card for Friday night is Gauteng’s multi-award-winning rapper, Kwesta, followed by the Miss Winter Fair finals

With a dynamic programme of events that includes music, car shows, cooking shows and much more, the KwaDukuza Winter Fair promises a weekend of fun and entertainment.

Set to take place from June 29 to July 2 at the Stanger High School ground, KwaDukuza child welfare social work manager Karnegie Govender said the fair would include entertainment for people of all ages.

“We have kids entertainment, discos, car shows and an Edufair package for scholars who will for R20 receive a vienna roll, cooldrink and a ride on the funfair.”

The food stalls will include Thai food, Thai ice cream, shisa nyama, curries, bunnies, hot dogs, wors rolls, burgers, hot chips, chicken tikka, schwarmas, fish and chips, pizza, vegetarian options, mini donuts, popcorn, slush puppies and many delicious sweet treats.

Thursday

The first day of the fair is dedicated to the senior citizens of the community where they will enjoy the benefits of free entry.

At 5pm on Thursday the Ultimate Braai Master finalists, Randy and Sue will host a fiery cook-off.

Not to be missed is the karaoke that follows with live entertainment by Suvina Jaimangal and Raja.

Friday

Day two of the EduFair and the start of the local talent search!

The evenings entertainment includes Hip hop, local band Kwini Kuza and 5 Bora and Livy season.

Saturday

Demonstrations of martial arts and dog handling are sure to draw a crowd, along with modeling and a dance-off.

The night is set to be a great time with the popular Bhangra party with Hindvani jocks Shenara and AKD.

Sunday

The action does not stop on Sunday with the sizzling finals of the cook-off.

The kids entertainment continues and car enthusiasts will make sure they are there early for the car show.
