Tragic end to ‘Cinderella’s’ visit to the mall
It was a shopping spree gone wrong for this damsel in distress
The whimsical tale of Cinderella was rewritten on Monday night, with a slightly modern twist.
A lone leopard print slipper was discovered in the Ballito Junction Mall, but alas there was no Prince Charming in sight.
Why, you may ask? This may have something to do with the fact that it was wedged at the bottom of the escalator – every fair maiden’s worst nightmare.

Having the enchanted moving staircase grind to a halt before your very eyes while those who were happily riding along stop and stare in amusement is enough to scare off any damsel in distress.
But will this tragic story ever find its happy ending?
Will we ever find our Cinderella in this Ballito fairy-tale?
