The weekend is only a few hours away and there is so much on-the-go! From a themed parkrun to markets and car boot sales - you don't want to miss out!

Saturday, 5 August

  • Visit the Saturday Car Boot Sale in Ballito for locally made products, knick-knacks, pancakes and second hand items at great prices. Go to the open ground on the corner of Simbithi and Leonora Drive (next to the Ballito clinic). Email brenda@ghekkoevents.co.za. This will coincide with the The Westbrook Retirement Village fundraising car boot sale.

 

  • Head down to Sugar Rush Park for the Sugar Rush Market from 7.30-noon. Browse through fresh, home made, hand made, local and organically produced products to support our local growing and developing area. Contact Gill at gill@sugarrush.co.za
You will be spoilt for choice at the Foodies Market.
  • Every Saturday morning Forest Hills German Shepherd Club Ballito holds dog training for all breeds at Townsend park, Ballito. Times are as follows: 7.45am advanced; 8.30am beginners. Contact chairperson Gaby Lyle on 082 925 6481 for more details.

 

  • The Ballito Lifestyle Centre’s Foodies Market is on the first Saturday of every month outside Zara’s Coffee Shop, from 8am to 2pm. The market supports local produce, focusing on providing fresh, organic and artisanal products.

 

Don’t miss out on the themed Tinley Manor parkrun!

  • This week’s Tinley Manor parkrun will be dedicated to the celebration of women. Entry is free and the run begins at 8am sharp at the driving range.

 

  • Don’t miss the monthly I heart Market at Imbizo Lawns (opposite Nino’s), Moses Mabhida Stadium. Overflow parking can be found at the swimming pools and mustering fields (opposite People’s Park). Contact info@iheartmkt.com for more info.
