A fabulous Christmas Fair with flair
This year marks the 65th birthday of the fundraising organisation, the Christmas Fair Fund, presenter of the country fair
The much anticipated annual Christmas country fair will take place on November 1 and 2 at Collisheen Estate, inland from Ballito.
This year marks the 65th birthday of the fundraising organisation, the Christmas Fair Fund, presenter of the country fair.
To celebrate this landmark birthday and in keeping with current trends, the fund has updated its image and the new branding is being rolled out to coincide with the fair.
The Christmas Fair Fund was started in 1952 by concerned volunteers who wanted to help alleviate poverty and address the lack of facilities in local disadvantaged communities.
Over the years the money raised has been used for education, health, feeding schemes and supporting various deserving individuals.
The Christmas fair remains the biggest fundraising event of the year for the fund, attracting visitors and vendors from far and wide. This year’s fair promises more than 90 stalls, offering unusual and interesting merchandise for the discerning shopper.
The Christmas Fair Fund ladies will have their own stall where home-made products like jams, pesto’s, Christmas cakes, puddings and mince pies will be for sale.
To avoid disappointment, please order your Christmas puddings in advance from Maryderne Boyce on 082 801 1942.
Entry tickets at R60 per person are available online on Quicket or at the gate.
