Gearing up for Christmas, All Souls Anglican Church in Sheffield hosted The Durban Symphonic Choir last Sunday, delivering a magical song and Christmas carol experience.
Guests who filled the church enjoyed classic Christmas songs while they mingled and snacked during the intervals.
Event organiser Norma Dawson said the audience was extremely appreciative of the church for hosting the choir which they thoroughly enjoyed.

The takings for the event amounted to R21 210 and an amount of R4000 will be paid to the Durban Symphonic Choir. The balance of R 17 210 will be split between the Nkobongo Resource Centre and the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
North Coast Courier Orphan Fund co-ordinator June Mdolo thanked the guests who supported the event and in turn supported the Orphan Fund and Resource Centre.
“Thank you to All Souls Church for organising the event and agreeing to contribute part of the proceeds to the Orphan Fund – we are really grateful for all you do for the Orphan Fund. Thank you to Gaby Lyle who baked and donated the delicious-looking Christmas cake for our raffle which raised R2060!”
