Carols under the stars and more on the Coast this weekend

Thursday, 7 December

• A ‘bronze and charcoal exhibition’ of the works of bronze sculptor Marke Meyer and charcoal artist David Hadaway will be held at the Imbizo Gallery, Lifestyle Centre. Wine and snacks from 6pm.

Saturday, December 9

• Head down to Sugar Rush Park every Saturday for the Sugar Rush Market from 7.30-noon. Browse through fresh, home made, hand made, local and organically produced products to support our local growing and developing area. Contact Gill at gill@sugarrush.co.za

• North Coast Artists will host Durban artist Judy Wentzel who will be demonstrating acrylic painting at 9am, at the hall of the Church Of The Blessed Sacrament, 2 Newport Ave, Glenashley. Visitors pay R40, which includes tea and refreshments.

• Kick the festive season off with a bang at Christ Church North Coast’s Carols Under the Stars at Umhlali Prep School from 5.30 pm. You can look forward to kids activities, a nativity play and carols by glow stick. Bring your own picnic/blanket/chairs – boerie rolls and cooldrinks will be on sale as well as Bench Coffee Co and Scoop ice cream available. Entrance is R20p/p (kids under 3 years free).
