Miss Ballito 2018 – Be your best beautiful self
Enter Miss Ballito 2018 by following these five easy steps.
If you want to make a difference in your community and grow your confidence, you are the perfect candidate for Miss Ballito 2018.
Former Miss Ballito finalists and crowned winners said the competition is not a cliché beauty pageant, but rather a learning curve to a better you.
Miss Ballito 2017, Brooke Haslam said the competition transformed her into the confident woman she is today.
“I was very nervous and shy to enter, but I decided to get out of my comfort zone and go for it. Miss Ballito has helped me become comfortable within myself.
“It puts you on a platform that helps build community relationships and teaches others to think about the needy.
“The competition provides workshops which opened my eyes to the value of life and how to care for ourselves and our surroundings. I would recommend to all the ladies out there who have a passion for helping others to enter the competition,” said Haslam.
Miss Ballito 2016, Khanyisile Zondo agreed with Haslam and said the competition has given her the power to achieve her dreams.
“I have always known I had great potential to be anything I wanted to be, but I felt trapped by my own fears.
Entering Miss Ballito was a way to face those fears and to prove to myself that I can be anything I choose to be so long as I put my mind to it. Miss Ballito was the perfect platform for me as it involved the community and fashion – two factors that form a big part of my life.
It was a great experience and helps you understand a lot of different personalities and to find ways to deal with them,” said Zondo.
Similarly, one of the Miss Ballito 2015 finalists Erin Dickson (now a East Coast Radio presenter), said the competition was one of the most rewarding events of her life.
“Coupled with personal growth and self discovery and helping those in need, Miss Ballito is an experience I believe every young girl should take part in. It is about beauty on the inside and how big your heart is. This is not a beauty pageant – it is a pageant with a difference that makes a difference,” said Dickson.
