An African cooking adventure
Callie-Anne Gavazzi's unique cooking talent was first showcased on Masterchef South Africa in 2015.

Born and bred in Zimbabwe, Callie-Anne Gavazzi has shared her passion for African food in her newly launched recipe book: A Love Affair with Food in Africa.
The Ballito resident with bush roots is known for her bubbly personality and eccentric look.
Keen for adventure, Gavazzi started a safari company “Callie-Anne On Safari” where she along with a team of chefs travelled to remote African kitchens sharing in their love for local food.

She also hosted and co-produced her own reality show: Callie-Anne Cooks: Into The Wild.
Her unique cooking talent was first showcased on Masterchef South Africa in 2015, where she made it to the top 25.
With 40 unique recipes, breathtaking photographs and stories of her childhood memories, her creative coffee table book introduces African food to the world while taking them on a journey through words.
At the intimate launch held at her parent’s house last week, the humble woman thanked her family and friends for their support in her journey.
“This book has been a dream come true for me. I would like to thank my husband for supporting my wild, crazy and often expensive ideas. Also, to my parents for always supporting me. I am who I am because of them.”
