‘Egg-citing’ Easter weekend festivities in Ballito

School holidays have officially kicked off and the Easter weekend has arrived!
Did you know that Ballito is one of the Easter Bunny’s favourite holiday destinations?
Enjoy a fun-filled weekend with loads of activities on the go, perfect for the whole family.
Sugar Rush Park
Head down to Sugar Rush Park for a fun Easter Egg hunt and an evening under the stars on Thursday to watch the Easter classic movie, Hop!
Gates open at 4pm and the Easter Egg Hunt kicks off at 5:45pm. The movie begins at 6.30pm.
Bring your own blankets, camping chairs, pillows, and a flash light for later in the evening. It’s chilly in the evenings so remember jerseys and jackets.
The wood-fired pizza oven will have delicious pizzas on sale as well as hotdogs, chicken or beef burgers, popcorn, snacks and refreshments. No picnic baskets please.
Tickets are R40 for adults and includes a small chocolate and the movie, and R50 for kids under 16 which includes the Easter egg hunt and movie.

Orchard Nights at the Litchi Orchard
The Litchi Orchard is hosting their first Orchard Nights event on Good Friday. Enjoy quality food and drinks, good vibes, live music from ‘Cyndi Kritzinger’ & ‘The Black Lapels’ and a glow-in-the-dark Easter Egg Hunt for kids.
Entry fee is R40pp cash, R35 Zapper/ Card, Kids u12 free. No BYO food or drink please (support our traders!). Blankets and chairs are welcome.

Tiffany’s Centre
Hop over to Tiffany’s Shopping Centre in Salt Rock on Saturday and meet the Easter bunny and his friends from 9am – 1pm.
Enjoy candy floss, stilt walkers, balloon animals, popcorn, face painters and Easter eggs.

Lifestyle Centre Ballito
Head down to Lifestyle Centre for live music and fun kiddies activities this weekend.
From Thursday to Saturday, kids can enjoy face painting, air brush tattoos and balloon artists, as well as a visit from the Easter bunny.
Families can also enjoy live music from a number of famous artists throughout the weekend.

Rain Farm Game Lodge
Come spend the day with your family at friends at the Rain Farm Game Lodge on Sunday from 12pm – 4pm.
Enjoy a fun Easter egg hunt for the kiddies and drives on the gator around the dam for R20.
There will also be an Easter colouring competition with prizes. Children can also swim, play putt putt, romp around in the kiddies play area while the rest of the family enjoy some cocktails by the pool.
There will be a lamb on the spit with an array of delicious side dishes.
Cost: R250 per adult and R125 for kids which includes the egg hunt.

Ballito Junction Mall
Head down to Level 4 at the Ballito Junction on Saturday for some fun filled egg-citing activities!
Visit the Easter bunny while the kiddies take part in biscuit decorating and crafts from 10am – 3pm.
Nu Metro Ballito is also hosting a colouring-in competition. Colour in their chosen picture and hand it to Hoppy, the bunny.
Each completed colouring in sheet gets a free Kit Kat!
Hirsch’s Ballito
Hop across to Hirsch’s with the kiddies on April 4 for a free kids Easter baking class at 10am.
