Gala dinner to award top business women in KZN
Margaret Hirsch started this competition in KZN, the Western Cape and Gauteng several years ago after winning her first award in 2012
Top business women from all the areas in which Hirsch’s operates in KZN are on tenterhooks to find out who will be announced as the regional winner of the Margaret Hirsch Woman In Business Achiever of the Year 2018 competition.
The regional winner and the winner for each area between Ballito and Hillcrest will be announced at a Gala Dinner that will take place at the Coastlands Hotel on Friday, May 11.
Margaret started this competition in KZN, the Western Cape and Gauteng several years ago after winning her first award in 2012 – The Business Women’s Association of South Africa (BWASA) Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

She has gone on to win 24 top business awards since then.
“It was the most wonderful experience, both for me personally and for Hirsch’s, and I wanted to share this experience with other business women in South Africa who perhaps do not consider themselves good enough or do not get acknowledged for all the efforts they put into their business and into the community as a whole.
“Our 2016 KZN Regional winner, Vino Govender, has also gone on to win several more awards over the last two years, and we are extremely proud of her, and all the women who have been finalists over the years,” said Margaret.
Entertainment for the evening will be from well known Comedic Inspirational speaker, Mary Steward, who hails from KZN and is now based in the Cape, and singer, Crystalene Nair, who is best known for having reached the Top 6 of the South African Idols singing contest in 2013.
