Spotlight on the piano
This will be the chance to enjoy the curious stories that accompany many of the pieces.

Treat your ears to a rich programme of ’20 Wonderful Piano Solos’ performed by KZN pianist Christopher Duigan at Ashton International College’s Grace Hall on May 24 at 7pm.
Duigan will turn his hand to an exciting and enlightening selection of pieces including Bach’s ‘Goldberg Aria’, Liszt’s ‘Un susprio’, ‘The Lark’ by Balakierev, ‘ Automne’ by Cecile Chaminade, music from the four corners of the earth, from film scores and a few technical and musical misfits.
For those wanting to discover more this will be the chance to enjoy the curious stories that accompany many of the pieces, insightful observation from the performer’s view and many personal anecdotes presented in the manner for which he has become known.
