Young and old rolled out their picnic blankets and enjoyed open air live music at Marriott Ballito Beats concert featuring Gangs of Ballet at Sugar Rush Park over the weekend.

Despite the fantastic line up and great weather, the concert was quite poorly attended, but that did not stop Durban homeboys Gangs of Ballet from energizing the fans who did pitch.
Series director Stu Berry said the great thing about Ballito is that there was a need for both types of shows the Ballito Beats music series now offers.
“There’s something for everyone at our Sunday afternoon shows where locals come to relax and hang out with family and friends. Then the Friday night shows now offer something fresh for fans. It’s festive, it’s social and parents can bring their kids for a night out that is safe, entertaining and filled with good vibes and great music,” said Berry.
