Supper, singing and sokkie with Kurt Darren
Kurt Darren will be returning to the Dolphin Coast for the family-friendly outdoor music festival, Super Naweek in association with Capitec happening at the Blythedale Event Bowl from June 22 to 24.
Simbithi Country Club welcomed a full house at the festive dance-the-night-away Simbithi Sings evening hosted by eLan Property Group and SA icon Kurt Darren last week.
Danny Fisher, Greg and Jo Taylor, Pierre de Charmoy, Steve van Greunen and the Thomas Mthembu Choir kept the crowd entertained and made sure everyone felt the good vibes as they joined in the singing, dancing and feasting.
Part of the evening’s fun was to raise funds for the New Guelderland School, which is in eLan Property Group’s Blythedale Coastal Estate.

eLan Property Group’s development director Andrew Thompson said everyone had a fantastic time.
“A total of R49,350.52 was raised between golf and dinner. A further R24,000 is expected to be raised with an auction to follow.
“Our target on the night was to raise R80,000 from the profit proceeds and with a bit of help this target can still be achieved. We urge you to support our golf day, which was postponed to June 26 – we hope to have some great music again. Thanks to everyone for their tremendous support and for such an awesome evening,” said Thompson.
And the party continues…
Kurt Darren will be returning to the Dolphin Coast for the family-friendly outdoor music festival, Super Naweek in association with Capitec happening at the Blythedale Event Bowl from June 22 to 24.

Darren said the weekend will feature various top artists like Dozi, Pieter Smit, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Dewald Wasserfall and Die Campbells. Kids will also have their time to shine in the Jong Sterre competition giving kids the opportunity to send a video of themselves singing to www.eventbowl.co.za to enter and stand a chance to perform over the weekend.
“This is going to be a safe, fun, family event for everyone – English and Afrikaans.
“Capitec is giving us a cashless app called MasterPass which you download before the event so you do not even have to carry cash. There will be lots of activities, so make sure to bring your swimming costumes, bicycles and 4×4’s,” said Darren.
Tickets are available from itickets.co.za and cost R150 for adults and R60 for children under 12.
Camping starts from R450 per site per day with a maximum of six people per site. There are also various glamping packages available.
