New team to tackle North Coast for E&V

Engel & Völkers Southern Africa announced a new strategic partner on the blossoming North Coast of KZN; an area that is considered to have some of the hottest property for sale in South Africa at present. Husband and wife team, Karien and Stephen Hunter, acquired the licence for the area.

There was a fresh start on the KwaZulu-Natal Dolphin coast for Engel & Völkers Southern Africa as the licence for this area was acquired by husband and wife team, Karien and Stephen Hunter, as they look to showcase some of the hottest property for sale in South Africa.

This area runs from the Ohlange River all the way to Zinkwazi, which is found to the north of Ballito. This experienced team has been in the Ballito area for over a decade, and stood out as the perfect candidates for the new licence. Karien boasts over 30 years’ experience as a property attorney and will now also look to develop her own Area Partners on the North Coast.

Karien revealed that she had been involved with numerous estate agents over the years, but the E&V brand appealed to her and after being approached by the CEO of E&V Southern Africa, Craig Hutchinson, it seemed to be a perfect match.

Her aim remains to sell quality properties, big or small, and believes that the vital element to success is to employ character. This showcases her love for people and assisting their growth and development.

Hutchinson believes that the KZN residential market as a whole is in a positive space, saying that it is set to be one of the most vibrant this year in terms of house price growth and return on investment.

In fact, he went on to say that the North Coast is being regarded as the ‘new Cape Town’ in terms of property due to the fact that it is a preferred location because of business and local economic growth.

As a brand E&V is renowned for its access to international customers through their global market network, and this bodes well for an area that has so much potential and interest going forward.
