These are your upcoming North Coast events!

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

4 August – Beat Route Band will perform on the First Thursdays programme at The Studios from 5-8pm .

5 August – Friday Night Market at The Litchi Orchard from 4-9pm. Be sure to bring a blanket to chill out and listen to live music while grabbing a bite to eat. Market stalls, gin garden, craft beer and much more. Entry is free.

James Freedom performs at The Market from 6-9pm.

6 August – The Sugar Market at Salt Rock Country Club from 9am to 2pm. Contact thesugarmarket032@gmail.com.

Hale Mary at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm, followed by the Rugby Championship Test (Springboks vs New Zealand) screened on The Market’s big screen at 5.05pm.

7 August – The Trevor Donjeany Jazz Trio will perform at Eat Street from 1-4pm.

9 August – Women’s Day fundraiser for the Red Movement at Ballito Hills Estate, from 8-11am. Tickets at R300 per person. Guest speakers include Lianca Dookran, Nomvelo Msimango, Dr Sibu Lubelwa and Ingrid Osborne. Auction and prizes up for grabs. RSVP at 067 153 7633 or cindym@balwin.co.za.

Visit the Ballito Library where South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the month from 10am to 6pm.

20 August – Tongaat Child Welfare Society annual general meeting at Tongaat Child Welfare Centre, Tesco Drive, Tongaat at 2pm. RSVP at 032 944 1514 or tcw@telkomsa.net.

27 August – Barry Hilton Unscripted at Linc Campus, Salt Rock, at 7pm. Tickets R250 at Webtickets.co.za, with proceeds going to Vision153. Food and drinks sold separately.

31 August – Join The Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes, at the Ballito Library, Compensation Beach Road, at 9am. Visitors welcome. Contact Filippa Heyneke at 082 602 4593.
