18 August – Open mic night at The Market at Ballito Lifestyle Centre from 6pm.
19 August – The Night Market at Salt Rock Country Club, 5pm-9pm.

20 August – Tongaat Child Welfare Society annual general meeting at Tongaat Child Welfare Centre, Tesco Drive, Tongaat at 2pm. RSVP at 032 944 1514 or tcw@telkomsa.net.

21 August – Hale Mary live at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm, Beat-Route Band at Eat Street from 1-4pm.
24-28 August – AFM Central Tabernacle Stanger hosts the Gospel Crusade 2022 at Glenhills Sports Ground, Venus Drive, Stanger. Wed-Fri: 7pm. Sat-Sun: 6pm. Contact pastor Harry Solomon at 083 301 2923.
27 August – Ballito Gesinskerk Bazaar from 8am to midday (behind Leonora Drive). Best traditional food, vetkoek, pancake, curry and rice, boerie rolls and freshly baked cakes, tarts, rusks etc. Lovely tea garden! Free jumping castle for kids. Vendors welcome. Contact Leonie at 032 946 1198 (before 1pm daily).
– Barry Hilton Unscripted at Linc Campus, Salt Rock, at 7pm. Tickets R250 at Webtickets.co.za with proceeds to Vision153. Food and drinks sold separately.
31 August – Join The Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes, at the Ballito Library, Compensation Beach Road, at 9am. Visitors welcome. Contact Filippa Heyneke at 082 602 4593.
1 September – Miss Ballito crowning evening at Collisheen Estate, dress is Black Tie, 6pm for 6.30pm. Tickets are R550, including entertainment and a 3 course meal. Email missballito.rotaryzimbali@gmail.com for tickets.
