Comedy master Barry Hilton to perform in Salt Rock this weekend

The show is a fundraiser for Vision 153, a non-profit organisation with a mission to build a stronger South Africa.

South African stand-up comedian Barry Hilton is gearing up to hit Salt Rock big time, but his invasion will be for a good cause.

Laughter master Hilton will perform at the Linc campus grounds on August 27 at 6pm, his hilarity serving as a fundraiser for Vision 153, a non-profit organisation with a mission to build a stronger South Africa.

Vision 153 helps orphans and child-headed homes through a number of projects, including building renovations, providing sponsorships for education, pro bono medical assistance and the provision of clothing to the needy, among others.

Hilton, aka ‘The Cousin’, has a delightful knack of turning ludicrous daily situations people face into humorous skits which make them laugh at life.

His acts have been described as intelligent, observational, impeccably timed and never crude, sexist or racist.

The show at Linc Campus is titled ‘Unscripted’.

Tickets are available at webtickets at R250 per person.

The Shwarmatac and Mozambik food trucks will be on site providing food and drink from 5.30pm.
