Looking for something fun to do on the North Coast?

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

15-18 September – For all your favourite top 40 hits from around the world, catch the Global Top 40 event at Sibaya Theatre from 8pm. Tickets from R87.50 at ticketpros.co.za.

16 September – Catch Hale Mary at The Market, and Afritude at Eat Street, both performing from 6-9pm.

16-17 September – A Million Dreams musical at Linc Church, features live dancing and singing from Performing Arts Centre and LIV Village children. Proceeds donated to LIV Village. Friday, 6.30pm. Saturday, 10am and 1.30pm. Tickets from R80 at ticketpros.co.za.

17 September – International coastal clean-up hosted by uVemvane Tugela honorary officers. Locations include Zinkwazi, Blythedale, Willard Beach, Salmon Bay, Salt Rock main beach, Granny’s Pool, Tongaat bridge beach and Westbrook main beach, from 9-11am. Gloves and bags provided. The Kickstands perform at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm, followed by Dave Starke from 6-9pm.

Miss Ballito Teen crowning event at Freedom House (next to Burnedale). Dress code is smart casual with a spring theme, with tickets priced at R295. Includes a high tea harvest table meal. Time: 9.30am for 10am. Contact: [email protected].

18 September – Live music by Tanner Wareham at The Market, 12.30-3.30pm, with Quiet Storm at Eat Street from 1-4pm.

21-22 September – Crawford North Coast Preparatory’s 10th Dancecapade at iZulu Theatre, Sibaya from 6.30pm. Tickets at ticketpro.co.za.

24 September – Farmer’s Market at The Litchi Orchard.

28 September – Join The Wednesday Club, a charity organisation which raises funds for worthy causes, at the Ballito Library, Compensation Beach Road at 9am. Visitors welcome. Contact Filippa Heyneke at 082 602 4593.
