20 October – Black Lapels perform at The Market, with Jemma Kate performing at Eat Street. Both performances run from 5.45-8.45pm.

21 October – Rugby World Cup, England VS Springboks on the big screen at The Market and Eat Street from 9pm.

22 October – The Kickstands perform at The Market from 12.30-3.30pm.

26 October – Come hear Ballito Writers Group’s guest speaker Jenna Moodley talking about her book, ‘Journey through the Valley – where warriors are born and conquerors are revealed’. The venue is the Ballito Library, Compensation Beach Road at 10.30am. Includes tea/coffee (please bring a cup/mug).Visitors welcome. The group meet every last Thursday of the month. No charge. 28 October – Let your light shine at the Grace Family Church Ballito’s light party from 3-6pm. Lots of games and activities, including prizes to be won. 2 November – Wings of Hope men’s business breakfast fundraiser in honour of November being Men’s Health Month. Venue: Elaleni Coastal Forest Estate – 8-10am. Cost: R550, including breakfast.
