Ballito’s Wednesday Social Club turns one with Mad Hatter party

The members arrived with a grand assortment of creative and colourful hats.

The Wednesday Social Club celebrated its first anniversary in style at the Ballito Library last Wednesday with a Mad Hatters tea party.

The members arrived with a grand assortment of creative and colourful hats.

Driekie Linde won the best hat prize, the Wonderland trivia was won by Ginny Lewis and the hamper raffle by Mary Ann Lobban.

Club members volunteer their time for community projects such as knitting and crocheting teddy bears for babies and toddlers at the Ballito Clinic and also collecting dried food for Vision 153.

They also keep fit with chair exercises on Monday and Wednesday mornings and meet once a month to socialise.
