WARTBURG KIRCHDORF SCHOOL
Striving for success
Wartburg Kirchdorf School (WKS) makes it their mission to raise young people who are going to make a difference and lead South Africa into an exceptional future.
The change in South African society since the school was established in 1881 has been significant, yet one thing remains constant. Every pupil at Wartburg Kirchdorf School has an ideal opportunity to develop an awareness of other cultures and the environment and to cultivate a strong work ethic in a disciplined, safe and secure environment.
This is what sets the school apart, not forgetting of course, that it is situated in one of the most beautiful regions of the KZN Midlands. WKS is a co-ed public school catering for boys and girls from Pre-Primary to Grade 12.
The school has a proud heritage of academic excellence which places it as one of the top schools in KZN, an exceptional feat with a total of over 400 learners enrolled. A 98% matric pass rate was achieved in 2018 and this was backed up by 80% of the pupils achieving a pass at Bachelors level with 53 distinctions.
The school’s sporting facilities provide a dynamic and healthy extension to the learners’ education, assisting them to recognise the importance of persistence and determination when it comes to taking their learning career seriously. More than ever before WKS understands the importance of family and community and the invaluable support they provide to the pupils.
It is the ongoing encouragement and dedication of the WKS family that is fundamental in paving the way to its success and ultimately that of all its learners. If you are looking for an exceptional school with an outstanding academic record, then do not hesitate to contact them.
