Northlands Girls’ High School

Situated in the heart of Durban North, Northlands Girls' High School (NGHS) is the longest established girls' high school in the Durban North area.
For over 65 years, NGHS has been educating young women for a fulfilled life. With first class facilities, stimulating programmes and inspirational initiatives such as innovative leadership and mentoring programmes, NGHS is proud to offer a comprehensive range of subjects, including IEB Advanced Programme Mathematics, French and Music, all taught by dedicated, qualified staff. The School is an Allan Gray Orbis ‘Circle of Excellence’ School and has been rated a ‘Top 25 SA Public School’ (Fairlady Magazine Public Schools’ Survey 2015). In the 2015 Matric Examinations, NGHS was the only Durban North public school to be featured in the top 10 of KZN public schools. It also received a 100% pass rate and 97% university entrance passes.
