School reaches milestone for conservation

The learners spoke with confidence, fluency and heart, proving that youth are truly leading the way toward a sustainable future.

CRAWFORD International La Lucia showcased its environmental initiatives after achieving an incredible 98% score for their WESSA projects in 2025.

This was mentioned at the WESSA KZN 100th Year Awards Ceremony at Willow Way Manor recently where the college reached its Silver milestone.

It was a morning filled with inspiration, networking with experts, and celebrating a century of WESSA’s dedication to the planet.

The college congratulated its young ambassadors who took to the stage: Vihara Naiker (2025 WESSA Preparatory Captain – Grade Eight), Mitali Lutchminarain (2025 WESSA Preparatory Captain – Grade Eight) and Anya Govender (Grade Four).
