Meet Jaron Hoareau, he knows all about air conditioning
His friends call him J, or Jaz and Jaron Hoareau strongly believes that in business you must have respect, integrity, honesty and manners – all the values his mother instilled in him from a young child. He also believes it is very important to support local businesses to grow the community and the economy. As the owner of Jaron Hoareau Airconditioning (Pty) Ltd, he tells us how his business came to be.
After working for three companies, Jaron decided he needed to be his own boss. He sold his car and bought a 1400 bakkie to start his own business. He went from being a micro business to registering his company, Jaron Hoareau Airconditioning (Pty) Ltd in 2018.
His company manages, installs, repairs, services and sells air conditioning units and is situated in Briardene, Durban North. Some of the work that Jaron and his company have undertaken over the years includes:
- Industrial sales, installations, repairs and services conducted together with strategic construction companies and property groups
- Government sales, Installations, repairs and services conducted for Dept. of Education (6 schools) and Dept. of Transport (Harbour)
- Individual companies, factories, retail stores, retirement complexes and residential – sales, installations, repairs and services
- International – Mauritius retail store installations
Jaron is also a true sportsman at heart, enjoying a round of golf or fishing in his spare time. From the age of three he enjoyed playing soccer, earning his provincial colours for the sport as well as provincial and national colours for baseball, cricket and hockey.
