EVERY week, as part of the Northglen News’s Y-GN pages we will be running a new slot that tells, you, young readers, some interesting facts that we are sure you did not know. Its called, Bet you did not know.

Here’s our top five for this week:

• A snail can sleep for three years.

• A polar bear’s skin is black. Its fur is not white, but actually clear. The electric chair was invented by a dentist.
