Masked man robs local woman
A woman was held up by a knife wielding, masked robber in Durban North last week.
LIKE a scene from a horror film, a Durban North woman got the shock of her life when she woke up to find a masked man inside her bedroom at her home in Park Road.
On Friday, 25 April, the woman took a sleeping pill and asked her father to close the bathroom window before he went to bed.
According to Greenwood Park SAPS, at about 1am the woman woke up to go to the bathroom but when she returned she was accosted by the knife wielding masked robber.
“The robber taped her hands together and demanded her cell phone and fled through the bathroom window that had never been closed,” said Lt Elvis Naidoo, spokesman for the station.
No arrests have been made as yet.
