Head on collision claims the life of a biker on the M4.

ONE man died and four others were injured after three cars and a motorbike collided on the M4 near the Blue Lagoon Bridge on Monday afternoon. Police are still trying to find the cause of the accident and preceding events.

Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha, said paramedics found the M4 littered with accident debris and the remains of the wreckage on arrival.

“Two vehicles were totally engulfed in flames, fortunately the occupants escaped from the burning wreckage.

“The biker tragically died due to the extensive injuries that he sustained, two people were in a serious condition while two others miraculously escaped with minor injuries,” he said.
