The lowdown on the Twitter Trendsmap

Northglen News shares the details on Trendsmap.com, and how it can transform your social application.

TWITTER is a pretty powerful social application all on its own. It connects thousands of people, almost instantaneously, and enables them to discuss similar topics and interests.

But, many people are not aware of another application, Trendsmap.com, which increases Twitter users’ ability to track Twitter trends exponentially.

The application offers real-time mapping of Twitter trends across the world. Hashtags, @mentions or keywords are superimposed over a world map and enables users to click on any mentions or hatshtags to see a real-time stream of relevant tweets.

Thus, users can focus on trends from specific cities, regions or countries, or focus in on a trending topic or Tweep to see where in the world it’s being mentioned.

Additionally, by clicking on one of the trends Twitter users are fed with a description of the trend and media. A detailed analysis of the trends statistics can also be accessed through the application, such as in which country it was popular, number of retweets, number of replies, the most popular trend in a country or city, etc.
