Durban North resident evades intruders

The home owner escaped through the back entrance as the intruders ransacked her home.

A RESIDENT escaped unscathed after three intruders entered her home on Adrienne Avenue, Glenashley this afternoon.

The woman’s harrowing ordeal began at approximately 12.30pm, when the three men derailed the property’s gate and smashed in the front door.

She managed to evade the criminals by escaping through the back entrance.

According to Marshall Security the men ransacked the home before stealing two vehicles from the property, a Black Mercedes ML320 and a Silver Mercedes C Class.

The vehicles were both fitted with Netstar trackers, and were later recovered in KwaMashu. Authorities transported the vehicles to the Durban North SAPS where they will be fingerprinted.
