Phoenix woman found alive

The details surrounding her disappearance are still unclear, but she was reportedly found extremely dehydrated.

FOLLOWING  a desperate two-day search, the family and friends of Kerosha Govindasami were relieved when she was found.

The details surrounding her disappearance are still unclear, but it has been confirmed that the Phoenix woman was found in the park behind the Phoenix Industrial Park where she was last seen. She was reportedly extremely dehydrated, but stable at the time.

KZN VIP Protection Services, several security companies as well as tracker dogs were involved in the search. The 20-year-old’s family even turned to the Durban North Facebook page for assistance. Members of the group shared photos and information of her disappearance in a bid to help locate the young mother of a one-year-old baby.

A source close to the family said that further details of the incident could not be revealed as it could jeopardise a police investigation.
