Biker seriously injured in Durban North accident

The cause of the collision is unclear at this stage.

A MAN believed to be in his thirties sustained serious injuries in a collision between a vehicle and the motorcycle he was riding this afternoon.  According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, the biker sustained serious injuries.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene on Northway at the intersection of Oxford Road in Durban North, to find the man lying on the grass verge having sustained multiple serious injuries. Advanced life support care was needed to stabilize him before he could be transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.

“The driver of the light motor vehicle was left unharmed in the incident. The cause of the collision is unclear and the necessary authorities will investigate further,” he said.
