Man hijacked on North Coast Road

A motorist was hijacked at gunpoint on North Coast Road on Tuesday.

A MOTORIST was left shaken after he was hijacked on North Coast Road on Tuesday night.

The victim was allegedly accosted at the robot on North Coast Road as he attempted to turn onto Old North Coast Road.

Two suspects approached the man’s Toyota Hilux; one of the suspects produced a firearm and shoved the gun into the victim’s neck, threatening him.  The armed suspect then opened the victim’s car door and yanked him from the vehicle, said W/O Leon Audh of the Greenwood Park SAPS.

He and the second suspect jumped into the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene, he added.

Police have appealed to any with information in this case to contact D/Cst MS Ngubane on 079 734 1180.
