Car smashes into tree on Blackburn Road

Two injured in early morning accident.

TWO people, believed to be in their twenties were injured after the car they were traveling in collided with a tree on Blackburn Road in Durban north during the early hours of Saturday morning.

“The male and female passenger had minor injuries and were treated on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital. The cause of the incident is unclear and police will investigate further,” explained Kyle van Reenen of Crisis Medical.

The incident follows another head on collision near the Virginia Bush Nature Reserve on Thursday afternoon.
