Early morning pile up leaves four injured

M4 accident backs up traffic as far as Virginia.

AN early morning collision involving six cars on the M4 near Riverside has left four commuters with injuries ranging from minor to moderate in severity. According to Crisis Medical’s spokesman, Kyle van Reenen, the traffic backed up as far as Virginia.

“Paramedics attended to the injured on scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals for further care.

“It’s unclear what caused the collision which saw the morning rush of traffic backed up as far as Virginia, however the necessary authorities were on scene and will investigate further,” he said.
