Nine injured, as taxi and car collide
It is alleged that the taxi overturned after it collided with the car.

NINE commuters were injured when a minibus taxi and a car collided on Queen Nandi Drive this afternoon. Two of the victims sustained serious injuries.
“Paramedics arrived on the scene near to the intersection of Queen Nandi Drive and Rosary Road, to find absolute mayhem, as the injured clambered to free themselves from the overturned wreckage of the taxi they were commuting in,” said Kyle van Reenen of Crisis Medical.
Van Reenen confirmed that two of the nine commuters were seriously injured and required advanced life support care to stabilise them.
Once attended to on scene, the injured were transported to various nearby hospitals.
“The cause of the collision is unclear but it is alleged the light motor vehicle collided in a side impact fashion with the minibus causing it to overturn,” he said.
