A MAN, believed to be in his late 50s, was crushed between his vehicle and a wall at his uMhlanga home earlier this morning. The man was reportedy trying to check on his puppy that had run behind his vehicle.

“The man got out of the vehicle to check on his puppy that had run behind the vehicle, it rolled back and the man was caught between the car and a wall. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found that the man was critically wounded and in severe pain.

“After medics stabilised the patient at the scene they immobilised him on a trauma board and then transported him to a local hospital,” Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha.
