One injured in Glen Hills smash

Driver slams into wall of a residential home on Harrison Drive.

ONE person was injured after an accident in Glen Hills in the early hours of Saturday morning. It’s believed the driver of the vehicle lost control of their vehicle on Harrison Drive before slamming into a wall.

“It’s unclear what caused the young lady to lose control of her vehicle, causing it to careen off the roadway and up an embankment before finally smashing into a residential wall. She was treated and attended to on scene by paramedics and later refused hospital transportation,” said Kyle van Reene (Crisis Medical).

On Friday afternoon, paramedics attended a call-out to the Blue Lagoon pier, after a drowning woman was saved by local lifeguards.
