Man killed in N2 accident near King Shaka

Paramedics declared the man dead on scene.

A MAN was killed on the N2 near King Shaka Airport on Tuesday afternoon. According to Netcare 911 spokesman, Athlenda Mathe, the man was pronounced dead on scene. The accident occurred at about 4.20pm.

“The 57-year-old man died after his vehicle overturned on the N2 north before King Shaka Airport. Reports from the scene indicate that the man had to be cut out of the vehicle. The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation. When paramedics arrived on scene, they found that the man had already died due to the extensive injuries he sustained,” she said.
