Lion paws and heads discovered

Police have made a shocking discovery.

SOUTH Africa has reacted with horror after the arrest of three people in Giyani, Limpopo on Tuesday afternoon. This came after police received a tip-off about suspects attempting to sell lion heads and paws. The suspects were arrested in possession of the heads of two lions and eight paws.

Police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, said investigations linking the arrests to the poisoning of two white lions at Stockpoort, Lephalale are ongoing. The suspects, all from Mozambique, will appear in the Giyani Magistrates’ Court tomorrow,” Otto said.
