Family robbed at gunpoint

The suspects fled on foot after holding up the homeowner and his family.

A PARTY turned into a nightmare for a Cane Crescent family after they were held up by five armed men. The incident occurred at about 7.40pm on Sunday confirmed W/O Leon Audh, spokesman for the Greenwood Park SAPS.

“Four men armed with firearms threatened the family members and demanded their belongings. They were all forced to lay on the ground and were searched. The suspects managed to flee on foot with four cell phones and a tablet. We appeal to anyone who could assist our detectives with this matter to pcontact Det/Cst N.P.Mhlongo on 073 862 1700,” he said.

The robbery comes a day after a Sunningdale family were tied up and robbed by their gardener.
