
ONE person was injured in a collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive early on Monday morning. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the accident occurred at about 7.30am.
“Two vehicles collided, leaving the driver of one of the vehicles seriously injured. The assistance of Netcare 911 paramedics was called for. Advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilize the man, before he was placed on to a specialized stretcher for suspected neck and spinal cord injuries, and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital,” he said.
The crash comes after an accident on the N2 near Sibaya on Sunday. Three people, including two children, were injured in a vehicle rollover.
