Armed men tie homeowner up, ransack house
The suspects made off with various electronic equipment in the armed robbery.
FOUR men armed with handguns stormed a home on East View Road shortly after 4.30am on Sunday morning. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle Van Reenen, the suspects made off with various electronic equipment. What’s more, the men tied the homeowner up while his elderly mom lay asleep in another room.
“We received a panic alert, early on Sunday morning, from a premises in Parkhill. The homeowner was accosted by four suspects armed with hand guns, they tied him up before ransacking the house, while his elderly mother lay asleep in a bedroom.

“The suspects made off with flat screen televisions and electronic equipment fleeing in an unknown direction. The scene was later handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation,” he said.
It’s unclear whether the men involved were the same suspects who robbed a home on Dunford Avenue in La Lucia on Friday afternoon.
