Car overturns in N2 accident

Two cars and a truck were involved in the collision says Netcare 911 spokesman.

ONE person was injured in a collision on the N2 going south near Queen Nandi Drive this morning. According to Chris Botha, of Netcare 911, the collision involved two cars and a truck.

“Reports from the scene indicate that two cars and a truck collided; one of the vehicles then overturned its twisted frame coming to rest on its roof. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the road obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles, traffic was backed up for kilometres.

“One person sustained minor injuries. Medics treated the patient at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for further care,” he said.
