Man hijacked on Blackburn Road

The armed suspect forcibly removed the victim from his car and drove off.

IN the early hours of Thursday morning, a man was hijacked outside his Blackburn Road home.

According to W/O Leon Audh, the resident was accosted by a single armed suspect, who yanked open the car door and shoved a gun in the victim’s face.

“The suspect then forcibly removed the victim from his white Renault Sandero and drove off with the complainant’s vehicle,” he said.

The vehicle has not yet been recovered.
