‘Human Behaviour’ comedy act for Durban

The show takes place at Sibaya on 23 and 24 September where Pravesh will delve into the minds of humans and their interactions with each other.

STAND-UP comedy fans in Durban are in for a feast when Pravesh Mungaldave, one of South Africa’s leading young stand-up stars from Gauteng, appears in his brand new show, Human Behaviour.

The show takes place at Sibaya Casino’s iZulu Theatre on 23 and 24 September where Pravesh will delve into the minds of humans and their interactions with each other. “Human Behaviour looks at our daily lives and things we do – or rather have to put up with,” says Mungaldave.

“No man is an island, right? Unless you get caught digging your nose. Then no one wants to be around you. So in order to live, we need to interact with each other.”

And this is where the comedy starts. You are going to be sitting in the audience, thinking to yourself, he is so right, I do that exact same thing. As any self-respecting comic does, Pravesh puts his money where his mouth is, so best you follow his advice: “Laughter is the best medicine – unless you have hemorrhoids, and then I guess bum cream will have to suffice. So don’t be like that guy next door, watch this show for your medicinal cure.”

The KZN-born comedian, who grew up in the vibrant valley of Pietermaritzburg, has been seen sharing the stage with some of South Africa’s legendary comics at leading venues such as at The Playhouse in Durban, Johannesburg Civic Theatre and Pretoria State Theatre.

Performances of Human Behaviour at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre are at 8pm on Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 September. Tickets are R100 per person. Booking is through Computicket.
