#FeesMustFall students to march to harbour

The march will end at the Durban Harbour.

UNIVERSITY students in Durban will march to the Durban Harbour on Tuesday, 11 October to demand free tertiary education.

Following protest action on Monday at UKZN Westville and Howard College campuses, the march will include a number of civil society and religious organisations.

The march is a result of the Fees Must Fall meeting last month where students agreed on taking the protest out of the campuses to the private and the governmental strategic sectors. It’s unclear where the march will start.
