Gang storm business premises

The gang made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A GANG of armed robbers held up a business employee at gunpoint in Kenville on Monday night. Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said the men had ambushed the employee at the entrance to the business premises in Crown Road at around 8.30pm last night.

Four men armed with firearms held up the staff member who was opening the door for a customer. They fled with a flat screen television and two desk top phones. No injuries were reported,” he said.

According to Greenwood Park SAPS spokesman, Leon Audh, the suspects fled in a white VW Polo

“The suspects also escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. We urge our community to come forward and assist us with information that could assist our detectives and please contact Det/Cst Ngubane on 079 734 1180.
