Chris Hani Road service station robbed
The two suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
TWO suspects robbed a convenience store at a service station on Chris Hani Road (North Coast Road) at gunpoint on Monday night.
It is believed one of the suspects approached the teller pretending to be a customer at around 5pm, said Greenwood Park station spokesman, W/O Leon Audh.
Before he could assist the ‘customer’ the man produced a firearm.
“The victim and his colleague was then pushed to a corner of the store by a second suspect who was also in possession of a firearm,” added Audh.
The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
