WATCH: Snapchat introduces world lenses

The lenses can paint the world around you with new 3D experiences.

IN its latest update, Snapchat has rolled out world lenses, a new twist on its popular face filters. While taking photos with the rear-facing camera, simply tap the camera screen to find new lenses that can paint the world around you with new 3D experiences.

“We launched Lenses over a year ago as a whole new way to express ourselves on Snapchat. Since then, we’ve become puppies, puked rainbows, face-swapped with our best friends — and begun to explore how lenses can change the world around us,” the company said.

After selecting your lens, you can move it around the screen with your finger before taking a photo or video. Watch the video below to see how the new feature will work.
